According to this report, the saturday morning cartoons are in the past now,no anymore ... very sad!

I feel sad in my heart because I know that each of us grew up watching saturday morning cartoons on television , wearing pajamas and eating a large bowl of cereal!I grew up watching Kissyfur, super friends, he-man, she-ra,smurfs,Thundarr the barbarian, dungeons & dragons,Tiny toons,Animaniacs and the unforgettable muppets babies!
Today everything has been replaced by technology,cable and educational programs!That is no problem, and at least, educational programs are important because enrich our children!
At least there is the internet and dvd's and you can relive those days once again!But it is sad to know that the top executives of the major TV networks doesn't care about what mean to be a child and watch animated cartoons on saturday mornings!

My 50s,60s,70s,80s,90s and 2000s TV...

I can gabble on a good deal about this.
I particularly liked ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS until their last season, when they switched to parodying the movies. I watched 2 (3?) of those and then walked away. I played my tapes of episodes from older seasons instead. I also watched CHIPMUNK ADVENTURE.
I have since watched 2 of the feature live-action films, but feel that they are a total reboot and disavowing of the 80's-90's series. I gave up and never watched the 3rd movie. These -imposters do not have the charm or sense of the previous version.
The 80's-90's series inspired me to create characters like Citronella Peterson, Skip & Sis Waldo, the Marsh family, Honeybunch, the Roos.... check out my personal pic gallery,here AND on InkBunny (FurAffinity crapped out when I tried to download pics on it) but I am NOT to be held responsible if you bust a gut laughing.
I also have a cassette of HOW I SPENT MY SUMMER VACATION (TinyToons).
